Nice theme Carlos. Do you have the “Contact agent from property page” or is it only the Follow Me feature? Also, any admin screenshots? Great job.

    • Carlos says:

Thank you Brian, I’m contemplating on adding a nice good way to contact agents on property page, also I’m posting an admin screenshot in the theme page.

  2. Shyam Gupta says:

Any possibility of getting the search function implemented in the Smooth Real Estate theme?

  3. Carlos says:

Craig, thank you for your feedback.

I have a brand new XP installation and just downloaded Firefox 3.5.5 and the menu shows up perfectly fine here in both styles (Dark & White).

It would help if you explain more in detail what you are experiencing on your end.

I’ve tested in All FireFox, Safari, IE, Chrome versions in Adobe Browser Labs and everything is working correctly.

I would be glad to send you screenshots and please do the same if you see this again.

  4. Brian says:

Is there a way to select multiple selections under the same category?
    Example, Price ($100K-$150K and $150K-$200K).

  5. Brian says:

Is this or any of your templates compatible with any language switcher plugin?

  6. Max says:

    Hi,

    1. SEO: is it possible that in the search results page the title will be formed by a search parameters (i.e., “property for rent+NY+waterfront+300K). Same with H1-6
    2. Will you release generic theme (“framework”) with a multi-category search?

    • Carlos says:

The search results page titles can be formatted with the same results as the breadcrumb navigation (do a multiple search and you’ll see).
Regarding the framework for Real Estate themes… is very possible but there is not a real ETA, if you get any of the themes, that is your framework :o )

    Hi

I would really like to buy this but I have two questions:

    1. Am I right that there is no way of charging agents to post? There seems to be no e-commerce functionality.
    2. Have you serialized all the options? Or have you just put each one on its own row in the Options table?

    Many thanks.

    • Carlos says:

Peter, thank you for your feedback, as now there is no payment implemented in the theme but there are tons of free plugins to integrate like EasyPayPal or any of the plugins in the WordPress repository that provide this feature.

I’m not sure if I understand questions number two, please can you explain more in detail?

      • Peter says:

        Many thanks for your reply.

There are 2 ways of setting up the storage of Options when you design a WP Theme:
        Serialized
        Non-serialized
Log in to the WP Admin Area and go to wp-admin/options.php
You will see all the options listed.
Do you see lots of rows, each one for a variable Option for your theme? Or is there just one row.

I could see myself if you had an admin backend demo.

Many thanks. I appreciate the incredible work you have done.

        • Peter says:

I don;t mean that there will be only one row. There are tons of rows for all the other parts of wp. I mean one row for your theme.

          • Carlos says:

Peter, I Believe that when you are referring to “rows” this are menu options tabs correct?

We have our own framework with multiple menu options for all the Real Estate features.

  8. Peter says:

Yup. But how are you storing them in the DB? Serialized or not?

    • Carlos says:

All options are actually custom fields and they are stored in the WordPress native way, we don;t write that process.

May I know what do you need to accomplish with this or how this will affect your theme installation?

  9. Peter says:

But your other Theme Options? Are they serialized or not?

I integrate with existing intranet and it would have been helpful to know. But forget it. I imagined it would have been a really simple question for you guys :)

    Best wishes,

    • Carlos says:

All the theme options (framework) contains a lot of different functions, the best way for you to see them is to download the AffiliatePress free theme where you can see how they are made, remember the theme options are contained in a big array but the Multisearch, Agent Uploader, Logo Uploader and new Dynamic Framework are totally independent from this.
